Wheeliefest 15 Reviews

Once again the greatest weekend of the year lived up to the hype! Ten years in a row for me and this event continues to amaze! The group of people that gather, both travelling near and far, annually in Rowland PA are simply magical. Far far too little time to talk to everyone properly, but sometimes just "hello" can suffice. A fabulous two days of social bliss... then came the sonically-delicious-4pm-til-3-am REAL ROCK! Thank you so much to the Thompson Family and the Rowland Wheelie Crew for once again throwing the best party of the year! Wheeliefest for life!!!   Smiley

14 years and one honorable for this guy (that would be Wheeliefest 7). Leedog I couldn't agree more. I'm not sure what I would do without Wheeliefest and seeing all the Amazing AWESOME people I've gotten to know over the years. I don't think I can thank the Thompson's and RWC enough for the many years of fun, opening their homes and the hospitality they share with everyone! Looking forward to next year for sure!

I'm not certain where this all ends up, but I'm in it for the long haul.

Once again Bryan , Family and crew put on an amazing event! 15 years in row for me and Patrick. Sounds like a long time. The music this year was amazing! The late night Superstack show was a really great bonus. Next year I need to go to prefest. There is never enough time to catch up with everyone. I still listen to Brought Low and Lord Fowl daily.
Recently I had a captive friend in the car for a long drive to a show. He was stating that there are not that many good new bands anymore. I started playing him Brought Low, Lord Fowl, Steepwater,Muggs, Super Stack, Trews,American Minor,Super 400, and Sund Gods in Exile. His first comment was where did you find all these great bands. We all know the answer. Bryan , Thanks for all that you do to keep my excitement for Rock n Roll alive! Can't wait for 16!!

Absolutely to all of the above.  Long diatribes after 15 years of WF seem almost cliche now.  It friggin rocked and looking forward to next year.

Fantastic time and terrific lineup. All the acts were great but I was particularly blown away by how good Drivin N Cryin were. They are definitely on my "must see" live shows list..
I hope to make the Winter Fest with my crew, if there is one, and def the next Wheeliefest.
See you guys there...

I would like to apologize if my previous post seemed crude and harsh.  I thought about it today and did not mean to intrude on anyone's spirit, view or excitement about this great place.  What I was attempting to say came out not as nice as I hoped.

My original concept was expressing that after 15 years of Wheeliefest Rock (I have been to 7 of these) that no amount of verbiage, diatribes and dialogue could fully encompass and illustrate all that is WF.  A simple 2 sentence message brings home that I will continually be in attendance.

Definitely feeling the impacts of Facebook with how quiet things are around here.  Drowning in work so had to take a moment to dream of finer times to keep me motivated for the rest of the day.  Missing all the crazy freaks 'n dreamers; the next time around can't come soon enough!

and no, you can't find a 'like' button here! Wink

I agree with you Sarah on how FB has impacted this site and how quiet it has been since Aug. I miss everyone as well. The next gathering WON'T be soon enough  Sad

The facebook effect is truly disappointing, but a fact nonetheless.
