Dickey Betts closed out the Rochester Jazz Fest with a free show Saturday night and WOW, what a set they threw down. It was 95% ABB tunes and they rocked. Had my kids in tow and a nice RaChaCha Wheelie Crew turnout. Hope to make the trek up to Lewiston, NY for the July 11th FREE show.

We just saw Dickey Betts about 3 weeks ago here in CT. What a show! He had his son Duane playing guitar with him and a singer "Twinkle" that rocked the place on the order of Susan Tedeschi. She did Stormy Monday - and just tore the roof off! WOW

Shows I have missed in my town.

Rob Zombie w/Lacuna Coil, Tool, Radiohead, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Wolfmother, Blue Oyster Cult.  Just to name a few.

I do have tickets for RHCP in Sept though, so maybe I will get to go

Just saw Grady for free Friday of Canada day weekend.
The show just got better and better.
It's been a long time for me to play air guitar and shake my head and not give a shit.

Ah now, That's when you're really feelin' the distorted tingle in them endorphans. I, myself haven't felt that since the tender year of 1984. Maybe one of these days ole Grady will make it past the Mason Dixon line...
That day can't come soon enough!

We went to see Hot Tuna last night in Louisville.  What a show!!!  Jack and Jorma have been playing together over 50 years and are still playing quality rock 'n roll.  I definitely recommend seeing these guys if they come any where near you...they're legends.  The mandolin player was awesome....he even played a 4 string guitar that had almost everyone in the audience talking about it.  Got in last night about 3:30.....the alarm went off too damn early this morning!

Saw Hot Tuna open for Further Festival at Darien Lake years ago, they were great.
Hot Tuna
Los Lobos
Mikey Hart
Rat Dog
They all rocked.  Rat Dog a little slow for me though.

I just bought tickets for Bob Dylan, Junior Brown and JIMMIE VAUGHAN!!!   I don't care for Dylan, but Junior Brown's music and shows are fun, and I have big love for Jimmie Vaughan!    They're playing at our local minor league baseball park.   We've been to shows there before and for a baseball park, it's really a good venue.  Anyway, the show's in August, but I had to share some of my excitement!  It’s been about 2 years since we’ve seen Jimmie.

A24

the tickets are for here in LA at the Forum.    As of right now, I don't have any travel planned so it looks pretty like I can make it.  But if you want to make the trip out here for it, you got a place to stay.

I saw Jimmie when he was with the Fabulous Thinderbirds back in the day.  Boy can play the guitar.  The Thunderbirds were really good.  the opened for REO Speedwagon which ROCKED.  That was before they got all sappy and gay.

PEACE
