That song "Running Down A Dream" or whatever it's called used to get stuck in my head sumthin' fierce. Dammit.....there it goes again.....
But I'm not saying that I don't dig TPetty.
Kinda weird combo with the Crowes tho.... Undecided

Petty was actually pretty good. His band is very tight and his guitarist (Mike Campbell) and keyboardist (Benmont Tench) are both awesome. His hit-laden setlists are apparently pretty much the same night after night, so I can't imagine seeing multiple shows ... but for a 'one-off' type of show, I'd say that he's definitely worth seeing, regardless if the Crowes are opening or not. {and if they are, it's obviously a no-brainer}

Here's his setlist from last night:

1) Listen To Her Heart
2) You Don't Know How It Feels
3) I Won't Back Down
4) Free Fallin'
5) Don't Do Me Like That
6) Mary Jane's Last Dance
7) Handle With Care
8) Don't Come Around Here No More
9) Wildflowers
10) Melinda
11) Learning To Fly
12) Turn This Car Around
13) What Are You Doin' In My Life?
14) Refugee
15) Runnin' Down A Dream
-encore-
16) You Wreck Me
17) Rainy Day Women #12 & 35
18) American Girl

Oh, and here's the few crappy pics that I took last night.
